Will my stone patio get slippery when it’s wet?
For steps and patios, we use stones with a slightly rough texture or finish to keep them safe even when it’s raining.
How do you keep weeds from growing between the stones?
Depending on how we lay the stones, we use either polymeric sand or grout to fill the joints and prevent weeds from growing.
Will my stone steps heave or shift during the winter?
No. We install a proper base beneath your stone steps to prevent water from accumulating, freezing, and expanding underneath them.
Is natural stone much more expensive than concrete pavers?
Natural stone does cost about 20% to 50% more than concrete pavers, but it’s a worthy long-term investment. Natural stone won’t fade or chip over time, and its appearance may even improve with age.
Does stone get too hot to walk on barefoot?
Darker colored stones can get hot in direct sunlight, but lighter stones, such as travertine and limestone, will stay much cooler.
