A Wealth of Experience
Matt Tichy first founded Tichy Stone & Brick in 2000. After five years of completing high-quality cultured stone projects, Matt sought to widen his experience and skillset. He underwent formal union training in brick and block, learning the trade from the bottom up while working for other reputable masonry contractors. During this time, Matt worked on projects for schools, hospitals, banks, shopping centers, and even a stadium. He learned how to do everything from chimneys and fireplaces to arches, domes, and ornate patterns.
Having gained experience in brick, natural stone, and concrete, Matt began working independently as Tichy Stone & Brick again in 2010. He’s created many masterpieces since then, including an expansive stone amphitheater in Itasca State Park. He brings his vast experience and knowledge to every project, imbuing his high-end masonry services with unbeatable value.
